Follow @kivanotify or not?

You do not have to „follow” @kivanotify in the Twitter way of following people. Why not? If you follow @kivanotify then each and every loan published by Kiva will be included in your Twitter timeline. This will clutter up your Twitter timeline. The purpose of Kiva Notify is to provide you with personalized search results and only tweet you when a loan is published that matches your criteria. So, although you are free to follow @kivanotify, it may not get you what you want.

Kiva Notify does publish each Kiva loan request as a tweet, even when it does not match search criteria of any user. These tweets show up in @kivanotify’s timeline and therefore in the timeline of people that follow @kivanotify. These tweets do not clutter up the timeline of users that specified search criteria and are not following @kivanotify.
